We didn't concentrate very much on the form but just made sure no one got hurt, had a smile on their face and enjoyed the tai chi movement as already learned in the 1st and 2nd parts. As for our total novice, he slept that night from 6pm to 8am the next morning! Other feedback was mostly 'we were tired but not sore'. We all know the cure for 'tai chi sore'! More tai chi!
There isn't enough room for the lengthy feedback received from the participants, but here are some random adjectives and excerpts, just to get the feeling of it:
"Never participated in a taiji workshop before so did not know if I could last but also profit from it; in both cases I was wrong" "Good energy" "Smiley faces" "Lot of communication" "Great workshop" "Getting the movement" "Beneficial" "Relaxing and fun" "Stories and snacks" "Breaks welcome and well timed" "Fellow tai chi students" "Friendly welcoming atmosphere" "Sense of humour" "A good kind of tired" "Advanced students to follow" "Looking forward to a sabre workshop" "Wasn't overwhelmed" "Obviously enjoyed the instruction and the gathering" "Miigwetch!" Thanks!
Thanks to the CTCA Board and members from all over Canada and abroad for supporting us! We are very grateful and can't wait to do some supporting of our own.
